As we explore the dynamics of self-organizing, self-managing organizations, we know that an effective community opinion-polling capability will be important. So our long-range interest in this project is to have intimate involvement in an Open Source project which creates and maintains a web-based polling package to meet that need.

The ends-based edge of this project is that this software is being used to open and build a strategic partnership with the National Federation of Independent Business, the largest and most powerful lobby representing the interests of small and independent business at both the state and Federal level in the United States.

Timlynn is a member of the State Leadership Council of the North Carolina chapter of the NFIB. Through this involvement, we were able to volunteer to develop the North Carolina Small Business Issues Voter Information Center. While this is an exciting and rewarding public service project, the pre-election publicity associated with this project will serve a valuable local marketing agenda.

This involvement primarily benefits and is most directly connected with our portfolio business, Sohodojo - The Entrepreneurial Free Agent and Dejobbed Small Business R&D Lab
